The Maryland Child Care Credential Program recognizes individual child care providers who increase their qualifications beyond the requirements of state licensing and registration regulations. There are many different training options and educational pathways for child care providers. Depending on your goals and the stage of your career, you may participate in one or more of the following options:.

Classes can be taken on a desktop computer, smart phone, tablet or other device. OCFS will allow previously approved classroom training and newly approved virtual training submitted through EIP Event Approval or Aspire Training Approval process to be delivered using a virtual platform. In order for participants to receive training credits a written request to conduct trainer-led virtual training must be submitted to the Professional Development Program at Rockefeller College University at Albany PDP , in consultation with OCFS, for review and approval.
